Al- Majaz and Its Significations A Case Study of Surat Al-Kahaf

Abstract

Since earlier time Arab scholars have been contributing to the Arabic
Rhetoric. They initially studied Quranic Text and then they brought a lot of
elements that might declare this Holy Text as a dynamic symbol of Arabic
stylistics and superior to every other text whether it is bound or unbounded.
After their textual based rhetoric studies they have found that Quran is a
miracle in all meanings. For that they have been saying that this Text appears
explicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin.
This paper attempts miraculous quality of Holy Quran in detail and then puts
its first and foremost focus on the "Majaz" phenomenon.
