Abstract

One of the most important priorities in the field of reform is to organize the building of the individual before the building of society. In other words, before the revolution in the system and institutions, there has to be a revolution in the individual. The individual is the foundation of the whole building. So it is important to start from here. A good and strong building cannot be imagined, if its bricks are rotten and damaged.

Individual is the first brick in the wall of society. For this reason, whatever efforts are made for the reformation of the individual and his perfect Islamic training as a true Muslim has priority over other things. Because it is a necessary prelude to all kinds of reform and construction, and this means the transformation of the self.

The construction of man as a righteous person was the task of the prophets. And after them, their caliphs and successors are also assigned the same responsibility. In this research paper, after mentioning the concept of individual reformation in Islam, the principles and rules of reformation and the characteristics of the reformer have been discussed.
