الملخص

This research review examines the causes of religious deviation among Muslim youth and explores practical Islamic solutions to address this growing concern. In contemporary society, Muslim youth are increasingly exposed to ideological confusion, moral decline, and cultural challenges due to globalization, rapid technological advancement, and the widespread influence of social media and Western cultural values. These factors, combined with weak Islamic education, family negligence, bad companionship, intellectual uncertainty, and excessive engagement with modern media, have significantly contributed to weakening the religious identity and moral foundation of the younger generation.

The study highlights that religious deviation is not caused by a single factor but results from a complex interaction of social, educational, cultural, psychological, and technological influences. It also emphasizes that Islam provides a comprehensive framework for moral and spiritual development through the Qur’an and Sunnah, which guide individuals toward balanced intellectual growth, ethical behavior, and strong faith in Allah.

Findings of the study indicate that strengthening Islamic education, promoting responsible use of digital media, improving family upbringing, encouraging righteous companionship, and creating a positive Islamic environment are essential measures to protect youth from deviation. The research further stresses that this responsibility is collective and requires the combined efforts of parents, educators, religious scholars, media institutions, and policymakers.

In conclusion, the study affirms that a holistic Islamic approach can effectively safeguard youth from religious deviation and empower them to become morally responsible, intellectually confident, and spiritually grounded members of society.
