Religious services of the scholars of the subcontinent

Abstract

The sub۔continent has been the center of different sciences and arts. In this region, Ulamai۔e۔Sulook of different ages did a lot for the nourishment of sciences and arts and got such achievements in philosophy, fine arts, history, politics, palmistry, astrology, mathematics and medical field which still serve  as beacon for the people of the present age.

This is the reason when Islam came into this region and people embraced it then such kind of people emerged from them who devoted their lives for the preaching of Islam.  As a result, this era saw the birth of such experts (in the field of Islamic Sciences) who, on one side, introduced to people the true teachings of Islam through preaching and, on the other side,  they made authoring, teaching, learning of Quran, Hadith and Fiqa, their aim of life.

Ulamie۔e۔Sulook of sub۔continent trained their disciples in the light of Quran and Hadith and that was the reason that these disciples became Islamic leaders after getting inspiration from their teachers. Apart from the schooling of people, they remained in the front line to serve Quran and Hadith. They also   served in the field of  ‘Fiqa’.
